The parent company of this venture successfully went public in France, contributing to its growth and expansion. In 2002, Boursorama Banque, part of the SG group with a market capitalization of €1,000 million, acquired Selftrade.

Within Boursorama Banque, Ramón held several prominent roles, serving as the deputy CEO in France, president of Onvista Bank in Germany, and vice president of Selftrade Bank in the United Kingdom. Alongside his accomplishments in the corporate world, Ramón Blanco has actively invested in various startups, including idealista.com, 11870.com, sindelantal.com, we are knitters, Gana Energía, and Wetaca.

Furthermore, Ramón’s diverse pursuits extend beyond the realm of business. He has also excelled in sports and earned recognition as a seasoned rugby player, representing Spain in international competitions, accumulating an impressive record of fifteen international rugby caps.
