Josh Jones-Dilworth
Josh is a marketer, entrepreneur, and media professional driven by a passion for ensuring that good ideas and endeavors receive the attention they deserve. With a diverse background, he has founded six companies spanning film production to pharmaceutical research and development. He actively invests in and advises startups in cutting-edge fields such as AI, robotics, genomics, and 3D printing.
In the startup world, Josh believes that responsible advancement of civilization can be achieved through a combination of long-term thinking and decisive action, leveraging the rapid pace of technological change.
During his entrepreneurial journey he has become CEO and CMO focused on frontier technologies like Siri, Viv, Kernel, Clear Labs, SRI, WolframAlpha, and Rewired. He also cofounded The Daily Dot, an award-winning online newspaper, Litmus Health, a new company that uses machine learning to provide better evidence for researchers conducting clinical trials, and Culturati, a community of CEOs who study corporate culture.
Driven by a sense of longing, Josh teaches at Acton School of Business, wishing he had the privilege of attending the program himself. He believes that entrepreneurship can be taught with the right mindset and attributes. Through teaching, he aims to equip students with the knowledge, clarity, frameworks, and habits that will maximize their potential for making a significant impact.
