You already know when something is meant for you.
Standard paths feel too slow. The credentials look nice, but you know they won’t save you when payroll is due and the bank account is empty.
You don’t want a professor to tell you about business. You want to know if you have what it takes to actually build one.
Are you ready to find out?
Theory is cheap.
Mistakes are expensive.
We don’t do lectures. We don’t memorize textbooks. We focus on the three questions that actually matter when you’re building a venture:
Customers
Can you sell it?
Understanding who buys, why they buy, and how much they’ll pay.
Operations
Can you deliver it?
Building a machine that creates value without breaking down.
Cash
Will it survive?
Reading the story the numbers tell you, so you don’t run out of fuel.
WHO FITS HERE?
We are looking for the mavericks.
Founders, future owners, and people tired of sitting on the sidelines. We don’t care about your resume or your job title.
We care about one thing: Are you willing to do the work?
If you want to build a company, you are in the right place.
THE METHOD
Get in the hot seat.
In a traditional classroom, you take notes. Here, you take the floor.
01
Asynchronous deep work
You master the tools, financial frameworks, and theory on your own schedule.
02
The Socratic hot seat
You come together to debate. You defend your decisions live while peers and masters stress-test your logic.
03
Hands-on challenges
You don’t just study cases; you complete specific, real-world missions that give shape and structure to your own venture.
The curriculum moves beyond standard instruction by integrating these three essential layers of preparation.
THE JOURNEY
Phase I: The Toolkit (Online)
Build the foundation.
Before you run, you must walk. Here, you get the essential tools and frameworks entrepreneurs use to keep score. You master the financial literacy and operational language necessary to engage at a higher level.
Phase II: The Entrepreneurial Journey (Online)
Compress time.
You step into the arena, analyzing twenty-three distinct business cases. In every single one, you put yourself in the entrepreneur’s shoes. You have limited information. The clock is ticking. You have to decide. It compresses years of learning the hard way into a few intense months.
Phase III: Venture Quest and Pitch Competition (Madrid)
Face reality.
The finale is a full semester. You spend months applying everything you’ve learned, building your own venture from scratch, and preparing to pitch it to investors who aren’t there to be nice. They’re there to see if your business works.
The semester culminates in one week in Madrid, where you present to real investors.
(Note: We invest in your potential. Your flights and accommodation for Madrid are fully covered.)
A serious tradition,
deliberately carried forward.
The Acton postgraduate program draws from the pedagogical roots of the Acton MBA and the intellectual tradition of Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
This lineage emphasizes freedom paired with responsibility, independent thinking grounded in evidence, and entrepreneurship as a worthy pursuit. We train you to think clearly, decide deliberately, and stand behind what you choose.
The application is
the first test.
We don’t auto-admit. We read every application to see if you’re ready to contribute. We protect the quality of the room because you learn as much from your peers as you do from the cases.
If you’re serious, we want to meet you.
The timing will never be perfect.
The map will never be complete.
If you want to build, you have to start walking.
